Unlike with music, writing was something that I discovered after I arrived at college and have happily (albeit intermittently) exercised since my freshman year when I realized that I was one of the few on campus with a talent for writing. I have written a few things that have been published in the school's literary journal and a few fanfiction pieces. Until the volume of my writings becomes much larger all will be posted here with a short description and a link to the individual pages for each work. Chaptered works will be formatted much like the picture pages, but in popup windows instead. I hope you enjoy my writing and if you would like to make comments please feel free to email me at
cdrolsha@wildmansden.net. Thank you.
Fan Fiction
All of the stories in this section are fan fiction writing, which--if you don't know--is a form of story writing in which the author takes an established set of characters and setting and fashions their own plot around them. These cannot be published for profit but it's a fun way to cut your teeth as an author and get into writing. I have a few stories that will go in here, mostly from the Anime/Manga Inuyasha and the cartoon Teen Titans. I will try to expand my base for writing but I've got to finish these first.
The Dogs of War
In early 1944 a young Japanese-American soldier is assigned to guard and assist an intiguing and mysterious young Japanese-American girl on a USO tour. He will come to find that things are not always what they seem, and that a pretty face can hide a lot more than just a pretty voice. Inuyasha fandom--Alternate Universe. Work in progress--11 Chapters complete.
The More Things Change
Four years after the Titans put the Brotherhood of Evil out of commission Richard Grayson returns to Jump City to build a life for himself. Things have indeed changed in the time he was gone and only one Titan remains to help him build a life in the city he once protected with the Titans. Sometimes it seems as though the more things change, the more they stay the same... Set in hybrid DC Comics Universe/Teen Titans Animated Universe.
Non Fiction/Memoirs
The story(ies) here are drawn from my real-life personal experiences--not so much in the manner of the Adventures page but in a more artistic and refined manner. The only piece so far is prose, so there are no hidden meanings, just take it at face value.
Four Thousand!
A short story written from my perspective as I make my fifth and final jump at the Army Airborne School at Ft. Benning in Georgia. The last jump is the only night-time jump at the school and is quite different from the previous four daytime jumps. And it holds a special significance.
