The original plan was for Duncan, Emily and I to do some backcountry camping and canyoneering at Zion National Park in south-western Utah. Our plans were literally washed out by the monsoon rains that Zion happened to be experiencing the week we were there (Zion is in the middle of the Utah desert by the way). So we modified our plans slightly and wound up touring four of the five national parks in Utah. We visited Zion, Bryce Canyon, Capitol Reef, and Arches National Parks. We weren't able to make it to Canyonlands, but that's for next trip!
