Here I have listed links to some of my favorite spots on the World Wide Web. Some will make you laugh, some will make you cry, and if you're not careful some will try to take your money (kiss 3 bucks goodbye?). These websites are great, but since my tastes are so varied you'll probably also find the summaries and tips that accompany each link helpful. I hope you like these sites as much as I do.

image This is my first stop for a lot of information that I get for going to climb the 14ers in Colorado. They have full guides, pictures, maps, and tips for every fourteener in Colorado.
image This is a great website for those times when you're just sitting around and suddenly you think, "I wanna go climbing!...but where?"
image This is the website of the 10th Mountain Division Huts Association. They maintain a large network of backcountry huts in Colorado. Traveling from hut to hut is a great way to see the backcountry of Colorado in style. Check them out for a cool winter snowshoeing or an awesome summer backpacking trip.
image This is a new website in my favorites, but it's also a new interest for me--backcountry alpine skiing. I'm ready to dive in, but haven't had a chance yet, so this is where I'm keeping an eye on conditions for the right opportunity.
image Canyoneering.com is also a more recent addition to my favorites, but again I am just starting to get interested in this brand of adventuring known as canyoneering. I have attempted to go a couple of times but conditions or limitations have always put a stop to my plans. This is a great guide site for all levels of canyoneering with good trip reports and articles about canyoneering in general. Definitely a site to visit before you attempt anything in this line of adventure.
image Homestarrunner.com is one of my favorite websites to just poke around on and have fun. They've got everything here: humor, games, humor, characters, humor...I think you get the idea. The thing about this website is you've got to get to know the characters. So go, watch the intro, follow the links, and before you get too tired of getting familiar with the website, watch some Strongbad Emails--he is funny. Really.
image If you are really into a certain comic, TV show, series of books, movie, or whatever and you have ever had a thought like "What if THIS happened instead?" while enjoying your favorite fictional universe, you should visit this site.
image This website was where I first began to learn how to write webpages and scripts. It's pretty good for beginners, but for the really advanced stuff...
image This is the place that started poking around for some really great references and lessons on javascript, stylesheets, and other more advanced web languages. Just play around with their code and see what you can do.
